IASEN AND PENMERU
The tomb of Iasen combines a classic surface mastaba and a chapel carved into the rock plateauThe decoration, which is without special originality, has however the great merit of being well-preserved. Iasen's mastaba is linked architecturally to the mastaba of Penmeru.

QUEEN MERESANKH III
This daughter of Kawab and Hetespheres II, died at about the age of 50.
Mastaba tomb (G7530-40) has a rock cut chapel (G7530sub) which consists of three decorated chambers. The actual burial chamber is accessed via a shaft.
